When the Song Feels Off-Key
You know that feeling when a song is technically being played but something’s just slightly wrong, a note that doesn’t land, a tempo that’s off? That’s what it can feel like to move through your own life. Everything looks fine from the outside. Inside, you’re not so sure.
Maybe there’s a decision you’ve been circling for months, telling yourself you’ll figure it out soon. Maybe you’re a different person in the work meeting than you are at 11 pm on your couch. Maybe you’re tired in a way that sleep doesn’t fix, tired of managing, performing, holding the version of yourself that everyone else needs.
That quiet exhaustion is real. So is the feeling of being misunderstood, even by yourself.
What We Do Here
I’m not going to nod silently for 50 minutes. That’s just not how I work.
Therapy with me is more like a really honest conversation with someone who’s trained to notice things and willing to say them out loud. I’ll name what I see. I’ll ask the question you’ve been avoiding. I’ll also laugh with you, because sometimes the most accurate thing to say about a situation is that it’s kind of absurd.
I draw from ACT, CBT, DBT, EFT, mindfulness, and relational-cultural therapy, not because I’m running through a checklist, but because different tools fit different moments.
Some sessions we’re untangling a thought spiral. Some, we’re sitting with something that hasn’t had room to breathe. I follow your lead, and I tell you what I’m seeing. I’m an open book.

Life Changes
Here’s what I want for you: the Wednesday version of your life starts to feel different.
You stop rehearsing conversations before you have them. You make the decision you’ve been putting off and it doesn’t wreck you. You catch yourself in an old pattern and you actually have something to do with that information. You disagree with someone and you don’t spend three days recovering from it.
This isn’t about becoming a new person. It’s about spending less energy pretending to be someone you’re not.
Let’s Get Started
It takes less energy to be yourself. If you’re ready to find out what that feels like, call me today at (310) 493-3478.
